今年もこれまで同様快晴に恵まれ、スクールで始まったパーティーはランチのあと、パフォーマンスからパレードへと続き、夜のTrick or treatingまで一年で一度のビッグイベントを大いにエンジョイしました。途中訪問させていただいたカフェ•オリーヴさんや寿荘では大勢の皆さんに歓迎していただき、とても良い経験をすることができました。ご協力いただいた方々に感謝申し上げます。
This year, we had wonderful weather for our Halloween celebration. Whether it was having lunch together, our performances, and Halloween parade, our the nighttime Trick-or-Treat, all events were highly enjoyed by all. On the way we were invited to the Dear Olive cafe and Kotobuki-sou retirement home, where we shared our celebratory spirit.
持ち寄りのランチパーティーでは、会場に並べきれないほどごちそうが並び、もう少しゆっくりランチを楽しみたかったと反省。来年はぜひもう少し長く食事の時間をとることにします！
At our lunch party, we had so many guests at our school and enjoyed a potluck lunch featuring dishes prepared by our preschool families.
クラスごとのパフォーマンスでは、みんなちょっぴり緊張の様子でしたが、練習通りの出来栄えに大満足!!
All our classes performed their songs, some students from the first time, and they were a little nervous but everyone did a great job!

寿荘入居者の方々は、子供たちの手を引いたりお膝に乗せてくださったり暖かく迎えてくださいました。園児からは、日本語の歌をプレゼントさせていただきました。
The residents of Kobobuki-sou kindly welcomed our students in, and held their hands and let the students sit on their laps. The students presented the residents with some English and Japanese songs.
今年のスタッフの仮装テーマは「不思議の国のアリス」でした。ハロウィーン大好きスタッフたちは、9月から準備に余念がありませんでした。皆さまにご満足いただけたかな〜、とちょっぴり心配です。
This year, our staff costume theme was “Alice in Wonderland”. Our staff, who loves Halloween, were excited since September! How did you like them?
