Daily Life at Beanstalk International School
ビーンストークでは、12月14日からウィンタースクールを開校しております。今回のテーマをビーンストーク•アート•スタジオ / Beanstalk Art Studioと決定してから、張り切ってプランニングをしてきましたが、アート好きな教師が多いビーンでは、やりたい事がありすぎて今回はまずは第一弾とさせていただき、次回以降も導入していきたいと思います。まずは速報をご覧ください。
ファーストセッションの3日間には、日本のアートの中で空手を紹介しました。
この日はじめて空手に挑戦する子供たちも、先生の叱咤激励に恐る恐るチャレンジしました。
もちろん経験者は「つき」や「けり」のポーズもさまになっています。
空手は「礼に始まり、礼に終わる」事も学びました。
空手のあとは、先生にもお手伝いいただき「お餅つき」をしました。
セカンドセッション、サードセッションと、この後もビーンストークのアート•スタジオは続きます。最後の日には、みんなの作品をジムに展示し、エキシビジョンを開きます。
12月13日ビーンストークでは一足早いクリスマスコンサートを実施いたしました。
毎年行われるこのイベントも、今回は初めてのホールコンサートとなり、会場内は子供たちの可愛らしい歌声でいっぱいになりました。師走のお忙しい中、足をお運びいただいたご家族の方々に感謝申し上げます。

Yesterday, December 13th, we held our annual Christmas concert.
This year was special as it was the first time ever that we held our Christmas concert outside of Beanstalk. As the student numbers and our dreams increase, we find that we require more and more space.
This year our concert was held at Meitou Cultural Theatre
The children practiced really hard in preparation for the show and did an excellent job on the stage. It was our best concert ever!
Each family at Beanstalk made a Christmas card and brought it to school. They made a lovely display at the entrance of the theatre.
Everybody had a great time and we are looking forward to more great concerts in the future.

寿荘にてクリスマスパーフォーマンス
12月7日、ビーンストークの年少さん以上のお友達総勢18名で、ご近所のシニアハウスにおじゃまし、皆さまにクリスマスのお歌を聞いていただきました。
スクールでは毎年ハロウィーンとクリスマスに寿荘を訪れ、皆さまにパフォーマンスを見ていただきます。いつうかがっても温かい笑顔で歓迎し大きな拍手をくださる寿荘の皆さまにスクール一同感謝申し上げます。
On December 7th, 18 of our older students visited the nearby senior citizens home to perform some Christmas songs for the residents.
Every year at Halloween we are given a warm reception when we visit and show off our costumes and sing some songs, and we were happy to have an opportunity to bring some Christmas spirit to the cheerful residents of Kotobukiso

There was so much action going on during the Halloween performances that we had to capture it all from different angles on dual cameras!
