Happy Birthday to all our April celebrants!

Daily Life at Beanstalk International School
In Japan, warm weather beginning only means one thing… cherry blossom, and cherry blossom viewing parties!
We were so lucky to have a beautiful day, and of course a sea of cherry trees right outside our door.
All students made their own special parfait to enjoy while relaxing in the garden.
We also had a yummy special lunch which the older students ate picnic-style.
Let’s enjoy sakura season while it lasts!
We had a great trip to the Electric & Science Museum!
We are learning all about ways to save the planet this Spring School, and being aware of our electricity usage is one.
From seeing the oldest lightbulbs to playing with a scale-model train city, we learned about how we use electricity in our daily lives.
We could even put our own faces into a video game!
After enjoying the museum we took advantage of the beautiful weather to have a picnic lunch outside.
Let’s save our beautiful planet by conserving electricity!
March 22 is World Water Day,
and a perfect day to take a trip to Aquatoto Aquarium in Gifu!
We saw and learned all about native fish and other animals which live in the rivers around our local area.
After a yummy lunch and a stretch in the playground, we were ready to see the fish from rivers all over the world.
Learning about these special aquatic creatures gives us even more reason to keep our water clean and learn to conserve water at home.
Congratulations, 2022 Graduates!!
Your hard work is on full display as you graduate.
This is just the beginning of many bigger achievements in your life!
Good luck with all your future adventures in elementary school.
We are so proud of you.
We celebrated Hina Matsuri, or Girls’ Day.
All the girls at Beanstalk dressed up in their favorite dresses for a photo shoot with beautiful seasonal flowers.
We made some crafts featuring and enjoyed a special snack of hina arare crackers, too.
Let’s hear it for the Girls!
Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone!
Today we had a great time making a sweet treat for our loved ones.
Students filled their ice-cream cones with crunchy chocolate, then decorated with jelly beans, gummies and colorful sprinkles!
We also made cards expressing our love for our special Valentines.
As the year ends, we prepare to say goodbye to our graduating friends.
But before that, we make sure to create lots of lasting memories together.
On our “Farewell Field Trip” we visited Toyota Science Museum, and enjoyed Chikochan’s Planetarium as well as learning all about physics.
Then we moved to Toyota Stadium, finishing off the day with the Hat-trick lunch and a beautiful view of the stadium.
lot lot It is sure to be a day we will remember for years to come!
We are very proud that our world-famous music teacher, Mr. Uichi was recently on a very popular YouTube channel.
He was involved in an experiment showing the important role that the music conductor plays in an orchestra.
Please check this out and see him in action!
Thank you too all our students and families for attending this year’s Sorts Day!
We had a great time playing games, running races, and cheering on for teams.
We were able to have a lot of games with parent involvement too.
In the morning, we played some games featuring including our Missy Mouse students.
After enjoying a lunch with our families up in the stands, we rooted for our teams with cheers made by our teachers and perfected by the students!
We topped off the day with running races and a scavenger hunt.
What a fantastic time!
