Daily Life at Beanstalk International School
Before this month ends.
We would like to greet our celebrant a very happy birthday!
We love art! During the week packed with sports and other activities, it was so nice to take a break to relax, paint and get our creativity flowing.
This month our 4 year olds are learning about nursery rhymes, which has expanded our love of reading!
From simple rhymes we can read by ourselves to books about our favorite animals like the 5 and 6 year olds enjoy, reading is for everyone!
Even for those who can’t read by themselves, hearing a story read aloud can be magical.
Learning to count and recognize numbers can be challenging for young learners.
Puddle jump is a simple game that gives kids a chance to practice math and get moving at the same time!
Our children patiently waited in line for their turn to jump.
Good job everyone!
Our Robby Rabbit class has officially started having soccer classes.
Sports can be just as important as academics.
This way they will learn everything that sportsmanship entails – leadership and teamwork.
This also provides them opportunities for even greater holistic development while having lots of fun!
This month in Deedee Deer class, our theme is Animals!
It’s one of the children’s favorite subjects.
We have been learning through watching videos, reading books, and making lots of crafts.
Everyone has their favorite animal, which we were able to show off by making masks and having pretend play.
A snow in the morning always amazes our children.
Seeing them enjoy every moment of life’s suprises is a big win for all of us.
We had a great winter break, and now it’s time to get back into our school routine.
Waking up early, eating a healthy breakfast, learning fun new things and of course taking care of our belongings at home and at school.
We rang in the New Year at Beanstalk with a slippery slide-y trip to Asahi Kogen for sledding!
We had so much fun sledding down the hill again and again.
After sledding, we enjoyed a curry rice lunch- the biggest eater finishing 3 plates!
After lunch it was time to get on the bus to go back to school and most could not resist a little nap as well.
What a fun way to start the year!
