Our Beanstalk monthly goal for November is to get ready for the winter.
Beanstalk students can hang up their jackets properly by themselves.
Well done! Keep it up eveyone.
Thanksgiving is just around the corner.
And of course there is always something to be thankful for!
Our biggest thankyou goes to our children here at Beanstalk.
The reason why our major events are extra special because of their hard work and they always give their best.
One of our most important morning routines is circle time.
This is when we look at the calendar and talk about what is coming up today.
It helps us learn how to sit nicely and wait our turns, and have fun conversation while we learn months, days, dates and weather… we also practice our grammar!
Keeping up with the calendar helps us gain a sense of past and future, getting excited about future events and reminiscing about past ones.
And we can use this as a chance to be more in tune with the world around us.
Shapes and colors are an important part of early childhood education.
When your child strives to identify and separate blue blocks from yellow ones, she’s learning more than curves, corners, and colors.
They are making sense of their new world and developing the ability to communicate it to you.
There are lots of fun activities we can do with colors and shapes! Using not only flashcards, but focusing on hands-on activities uses all the senses to remember and recollect the information they have learned.
Happy Halloween! It’s usually a spooky time of year, but we were able to use this holiday to connect more with our Beanstalk families and our neighbors as well.
We of course also had lots of fun with our annual Trick-or-Treating and costume fashion show!
We are so grateful for the opportunity to show off our costumes and sing some songs at Kobotuki-so this year!
May everyone we met live long and healthy lives.
Happy Halloween! Our theme this year was “Villians” and we welcomed everyone into our haunted castle for a spectacular fashion show!
Everyone did a great job showing off their costumes on the runway.
Whose costume was your favorite? Now it’s time to get ready for the Trick-or-Treat Parade!
Update coming soon…
Just two more days until our Halloween Party!
Students have been practicing their walks and scary poses for the fashion show.
Until we see you on Friday, please reminisce with us about some past Halloween fun!
