Dear Parents,

First, we would like to thank you for your cooperation during this difficult time, and thank you for all of your wonderful feedback on our online lesson program.

Yesterday, it was announced by Prime Minister Shinzo Abe that the government issued State of Emergency due to the Corona Virus Pandemic will be lifted as of today. As it was said in the Prime Minister announcement, the restrictions have been lifted but we still cannot let our guard down. Please continue to practice safety measure within your household such as; staying out home, avoiding large crowds, washing hands, disinfecting your house and things thoroughly, etc.

In according to how the public school will resume classes, we will begin preschool classes on May 25th, 2020. Each class will be given a single day to come. That class day will be a half-day. We ask that children be picked up at 12:00. However, student drop off times will remain the same. This will be done so that each class and each group of students can be watched carefully and taught the new rules surrounding how we must conduct classes. This is also a chance for the teachers to adjust rules, seating, and places to appropriately accommodate each students needs. Which day your student will be able to come will be announced at a letter date.

Classes will resume as normal, with some changes in accordance with the social distancing standards that we must follow to keep each other safe, on June 1st.

Thank you,
