Daily Life at Beanstalk International School
We believe at Beanstalk that it is important to be prepared for every situation.
One thing that we may face is an earthquake.
Holding evacuation drills helps prepare everyone if said situation arises.
After we make sure it is safe to leave the building we proceed to our evacuation site.
Made it! Now it’s time to check if anyone is missing.
Yay! Everyone is here.
It seems safe, so we head back to school.
And this is how we prepare!
Part of our celebration of Halloween at Beanstalk is to visit the residents at Kotobuki-sou and perform in front of them.
We walk around to Kotobuki-sou in groups.
We perform several songs in English and Japanese. We also get the residents to join in!
Once the performances are over we give out hand made gifts to each of the residents.

We’d like to thank everyone who took part in this year’s Halloween celebration.
After the fashion show we sat down for lunch…
…and got some time for a few photos outside.
It was time for the main performance so everyone gathered into the main hall to watch each class.
Missy Mouse class went first with their song: The Skeleton Dance.
Up next was Robby Rabbit performing: The Addams Family Theme.
The DeeDee 1 class went next with: Happy Monster Song.
The final performance was done by DeeDee 2: Somebody’s Watching Me.
Everybody started to arrive at the venue in the morning ready for a spooky day of fun.
We started our day with a fashion show. The costumes were amazing!
Thank you to everyone for dressing up. You all looked great!
We had lots to get ready this year for Halloween…
…and we started with practicing our dance performances.
It was important to get the right pose for the runway!
I think the decorations this year were particularly good. It was really fun making them.
Before everyone arrived the teachers went ahead and decorated the venue.
The teachers also had a little time to get into costume before everyone arrived.
This year’s theme was The Addams Family and perfect to fit in with the spooky setting.
What an amazing Halloween we had this year.
We had some fantastic performances from all the classes and they all looked incredibly cute.
We also went to Kotobuki-sou to see the residents there and perform a few songs for them.

We took a trip to Tenpaku Park at the beginning of October.
The weather was perfect.
We got to climb all over the playground…
…and enjoy the huge roller slide!
We really burned our energy away that day. After all that exercise we needed a rest on the bus ride back to school.
We will be going to Tenpaku park again this month to get some more exercise!
