2012　ビーンストーク•ラボラトリーへのご案内

Spring School
ビーンストーク•インターナショナル•スクールでは、プリスクールの春休み期間を利用し、2012スプリング•スクールを開校いたします。
今年度のスプリング•スクールでは、サイエンスをテーマに実験的なプログラムを多数取り入れます。1st sessionでは、地質学(Geology)、2nd sessionでは、地理学(Geography)、3rd sessionでは、様々なプラネットを取り上げます。
もちろん施設内での公用語は英語とし、毎日行われるリーディング•スペリングの時間には、全米No.1に選ばれたZoo-phonicsメソッドを使用します。

日程

  • 1st session 3月19日〜24日　地質学(Geology) 期間中科学館へのトリップ実施
  • 2nd session 3月26日〜3月30日　地理学(Geography) 期間中野外遠足実施
  • 3rd session 4月2日〜4日　プラネット期間中スプリングランチパーティー実施

ビーンストークでは下記スケージュールにおいて2011 Spring School を開校いたします。今回のテーマは「四季とそれぞれの植物」です。実験的なアクティビティーを含め、子供たちが自然や四季の移り変わりについて楽しく学べるプログラムをご用意しております。

全米No.1教材に選ばれたZoo-phonics教材を使用した英語学習は、子供達の記憶に残りその後に繋がります。リピーターさんも初心者の方も安心して学べるスプリングスクールにぜひ参加してください！

Spring school 2011

Applications for Spring School 2011 at Beanstalk International School are now open. Beanstalk holds one of the most popular Spring School programs conducted in English in Aichi prefecture, and places fill up quickly each year.

The theme for Spring School this year is The Four Seasons and their Flora. We will have plenty of hands-on experiments conducted in an All English environment which the children are bound to find fascinating. Each class will have a maximum of 12 students with 2 teachers assigned to each class.

Children from 3 years of age, up to 3rd grade in elementary school (2 years old if they are preschool students) are welcome to join.

Children can attend any number, and any combination of days during the three sessions of Spring School.

  • Session 1- March 21st~March 25th (5 days) – We will have a spring lunch party on the 24th.
  • Session 2- March 28th ~ April 1st (5 days) – Picnis at Tenpaku Park March 31st.
  • Session 3- April 4th~5th (2 days)

Spring School 2010

3月22日〜4月8日に実施された2010 Beanstalk Spring Schoolの様子をご紹介します。今回はテーマを”自然災害”に設定し、「地震•つなみ•火山の噴火•竜巻」を取り上げ簡単なしくみと被害について学びました。そして最終日には地震を想定し、避難訓練を行いました。地震の多い国で育つ子供達は、万一の際のとるべき行動を知っておく事が大切です。地震の無い国から来た外国人教師は、日本で最初に地震を経験した時、それが実際は微震であっても、たいへんな恐怖を感じ恐怖で動けないそうです。実際そんな事が起こらない事を願いますが、「備えあれば憂い無し」です。日頃から安全確保の大切さを改めて感じました。

We held our 2010 Spring School from April 22nd to May 8th. The theme this year was natural disasters and preparation. We learned about earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanoes and tornadoes.

On the last day we even had an earthquake simulation and practiced protecting ourselves and evacuating to a safe spot after the tremors have stopped. It was a little scary for some, but we think it was a valuable lesson.

そして、もちろんZoo-phonicsをベースにした英語学習とたくさんのエクササイズにクラフトはお楽しみいっぱいで、この期間お友達の笑い声が絶えませんでした!

Of course all instruction was in English and we had a lot of fun and made some lovely crafts and got plenty of exercise.
